Three Queens

The squeeze and I were nervous about where we were going to plant Pig when we moved out of our apartment. My dad was not too keen about taking her in, especially now that he has Stephi the little teacup Yorkie residing with him. I think he just hates to admit how much he might actually enjoy Pig's company. The only other real option was with the squeeze's rents, only problem, or problems, is that they already have two majestic felines at home. Molly and Sophie are the queens of the castle, and as the queens of the castle they are definitely set in their ways. At the ripe old ages of 15 and 16 it's only fair that they weren't expecting a third furry addition to the home.

Luckily things haven't been as crazy as we predicted they might be. Molly, a Maine Coon mix with a lot of sass and an even bigger vocabulary is the one who runs the show, she for the most part is too busy laying out on the deck or devouring mice to notice Pig. In fact, we've noticed our little Pig is the antagonizer in the bunch, she loves to hover around Molly and observes her which leads to a lot of hissing and growling.

Sophie, a sophisticated little Applehead Siamese is the lap-cat of the brood. She's pretty stationary and likes to root herself to her napping spots, if a tornado came through not only would Sophie not move, she wouldn't even look up. Occasionally Pig and her lock gazes and stare at each other from across the room, occasionally a hushed hiss comes from the little Applehead but otherwise no bloodshed.

I think Sophie once tried to 'boop' her on the head, but someone reacted in time and prevented any 'booping' from commencing. Now that we've seen how everyone is handling the change, the squeeze and I are pretty relieved and are enjoying living with three furry queens running the show. I will miss these girls so much when we leave! Five days!
